On December 14th Boeings new 747-8 Intercontinental Jet received certification from the FAA. This will allow Boeing to commence delivering aircraft early next year.

While the 747-8 Intercontinental has taken a back door due to firstly the introduction of the giant A380 and then it’s smaller counterpart the 787 it should not be forgotten for it’s own technological advances. Including major improvements to fuel efficiency, a new wing and updated cockpit plus much more.
